Please use these guidelines to prepare for your presentations.  If you need any additional support, please let us know.

We will have student ambassadors / room monitors in each room to support and help set up with IT etc.

In each room there will be a PC, projector and screen, HDMI and USB-C connections. In addition, the auditorium has a lectern microphone.

Please arrive in good time before the start of your session.

 

Guidelines for Oral Presentations

Sessions for oral presentations last for 90 minutes with each session accommodating 4 presentations.

Your presentation should last for 15 minutes, which will be followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.

Please ensure that your presentation is prepared in advance and that your PowerPoint slides are clear and accessible. Bring your prepared slides on a USB stick / flash drive. Ideally please format your slides in 16:10 ratio.

 

Guidelines for Poster Presentations

Poster walks will take place during the lunch breaks on Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th June.

Each walk has been grouped by theme and will consist of 7-10 posters per group. Authors should make sure that they are in attendance by their poster during allocated poster session time.

Please prepare a 2-minute presentation on your poster. This will be followed by 1 minute for Q&A.

Your poster will be displayed in the common foyer area where refreshments are served for coffee and lunch breaks.  

Your poster should be in portrait mode. A0 size 46.8 inches (111.89 cm) high x 33.1 inches (84.1 cm) wide. Please include your contact details on the poster.

Posters should be removed at the end of the conference and not left at the venue.

 

 

Guidelines for Workshops

Your workshop should last for 90 minutes.

Please ensure that your workshop includes activities which include workshop participants i.e. these sessions should not comprise solely of didactic presentations.

Please arrive at your workshop venue at least 15 minutes before the start time to prepare.  Workshop presenters should ensure that they bring all their workshop materials with them.
